AL ILM UN NAFE FOUNDATION

INTRODUCTION OF AL ILM UN NAFE FOUNDATION :

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim.” (Narrator: Anas bin Malik may Allah be pleased with him, sahih aljami, hadith number 3914 sahih). In the light of this hadith it is necessary for every Muslim to acquire such knowledge of shariah through which he can fulfill the rights of Allah and the rights of his servants well free from errors. Therefore it is necessary for every man and woman to acquire knowledge of basic teachings of Islam in beliefs, worships, morality and other matters so that they may gain Allah’s pleasure and achieve the great achievement in religious as well as worldly terms by obeying what Allah has commanded and refraining from what Allah has forbidden. This is possible only when a believer asks Allah for beneficial knowledge and seeks refuge in Allah from non-beneficial knowledge and works in the pursuit of acquiring beneficial knowledge.

The prophet peace and blessings be upon him used to ask Allah for beneficial knowledge and seek refuge in him from non-beneficial knowledge.

It was narrated from umm salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the morning prayer while he said the salam he would say “Oh Allah! I ask you for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds.”(Sahih ibn majah, hadith -number 925, sahih).

It was narrated from Abdullah bin amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say “Oh Allah! Indeed I ask refuge with you from a heart which does not have humility of you, a supplication which is not responded to, a soul which is not satisfied and the knowledge which is not beneficial and I seek refuge with you from all these four things.”(Sunan tirmizi, hadith number 3482, sahih).

Definition of beneficial knowledge and its importance and necessity:

Beneficial knowledge is that which has an effect on the heart of the servant. As a result of which, there is a practical change in his outward and inward conditions, his heart is reformed and the heart of the servant performs great worships related to it. For example, sincerity, fear, hope, divine love and divine greatness. And the limbs and joints should also in submission, perform all acts of worship asked by Allah. It is as if the acquisition of beneficial knowledge is beneficial and successful for inner and outer life of a servant and his life of this world and the hereafter. If it is summarized in one sentence then it can be said that ho who found beneficial knowledge has found a beneficial successful life. The supplication of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at the very beginning of the day at dawn for beneficial knowledge explains the importance and necessity of beneficial knowledge in every aspect in the life of a believer.

Keeping in view the importance and necessity of beneficial knowledge, to convey it to the ummah, the organization under jannati khatoon has conducted various educational and training courses in the year 2013. In which, education and training of the two most important members of the society “women and children” started in the form of various online courses and still continues by the grace of Allah. And as the rectification of men and the younger generation is also necessary, the organization has intended to take up the task of educating men. And now on a regular basis the organization is going to establish a permanent institution “Al ilm un nafe foundation” for the education and training of all the three members of the society under which various educational and training courses will be organized. The organization is committed to benefit the ummat e dawat and ummat e ijabat in various ways from the social media platform for their further training and education. And with the help of Allah these tasks will be carried out in the future. The department of education and training for women and children will provide services under the supervision of hafizah Ayesha siddiqua d/o Muhammad khursheed and w/o Muhammad kashif azam (currently residing in Qatar) and the department of education and training for men will provide services under the supervision of Muhammad mujahid umri s/o Muhammad khursheed.

Goals of Al ilm un nafi foundation

1. To adorn humanity with the ornaments of knowledge.
2. To let know the lord of the worlds, the prophet peace and blessings be upon him and the religion of Islam.
3. To give Islamic guidance in beliefs, worships, morality, matters, social intercourse and livelihood.
4. To spread the teachings of the Quran and the hadith on the method of sahabah may Allah be pleased with them and the salaf.
5. To make a responsible Muslim and Indian and making aware of the principles of a peaceful society.
6. To provide Islamic training to all the three sections of the society; young people and the men, women and children.
7. To inform couples of each other’s rights.
8. To introduce the teachings of the Quran and the sunnah to the women.
9. To impart Islamic intellectual and practical training to the youth and to create positive thinking in them.
10. To educate the children and to impart practical training in them.
